Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and patient Online Tutor to provide virtual academic support to students through accessible platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. The tutor will teach lessons, guide students through assignments, and ensure that learning objectives are met in a supportive and engaging way.
This role is suitable for candidates with vision impairment who are proficient with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, voice-over tools, or Braille displays).
Responsibilities:
Conduct online tutoring sessions based on the student’s learning needs and level.
Prepare lesson materials and exercises in digital or audio format.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Communicate effectively through chat, voice, or accessible software tools.
Maintain punctuality and professionalism during sessions.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of subjects such as English, Math, Science, or other specialized fields.
Good communication and listening skills.
Familiar with online meeting platforms and assistive technologies.
Must have a stable internet connection and computer or smartphone with accessibility settings enabled.
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
