Job Description:
A Cybersecurity Analyst protects an organization’s computer networks, systems, and data from security breaches, attacks, and unauthorized access. The role involves continuous monitoring, analyzing security incidents, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing solutions to enhance system security.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to potential threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Investigate security incidents and develop incident response reports.
Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
Keep systems up to date with security patches and software updates.
Develop and enforce organizational security policies and procedures.
Educate staff about cybersecurity awareness and safe practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to design secure network architectures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles.
Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and intrusion detection systems.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).

Ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
